Elisa Raffaella Ferre’, PhD
Elisa is Director of the VeME Lab and Lecturer in the Department of Psychology, Royal Holloway, University of London, where she has been since 2015. Previously she was a postdoctoral fellow at the Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience at University College London. She completed her Ph.D at the University of Pavia in 2012.
Maria is a PhD student at Royal Holloway, University of London. She is interested in the vestibular system and how it interacts with and updates information from other sensory systems to form a coherent representation of our body and the world. She uses artificial vestibular stimulation and psychophysical techniques to address these research questions.
Agoston Torok, PhD
Ágoston obtained is PhD at ELTE, Budapest, Hungary and works at the Brain Imaging Centre, RCNS, Hungarian Academy of Sciences. His research focuses on spatial perception in VR: he investigates how people navigate in real and virtual spaces. He is supported by the EPS Study Visit for the project “Twisted Gravity: Assessing visuo-vestibular cues integration for the perception of gravity”.
Giulia is a Research Assistant at UCL and Royal Holloway, University of London. She is interested in how the vestibular system interacts with proprioception to provide the sense of upright.
Sherine is a visiting student from the Universite’ de Rouen where she is completing her bachelor degree in Biochemistry, Molecular, Cellular Biology and Physiology.
